Max Greiner, Jr. Designs is a family owned, private art, gift, and design company founded in the spring of 1978 by Max and Sherry Greiner.  Their desire was to make a living by creating meaningful artwork that would bless the lives of others for generations.  The Greiners moved their art business from Woodville to Kerrville, Texas in July of 1981.  Max’s work was first sold through art shows and their own mail order literature and art galleries.  In 1996, thanks to Sherry’s foresight, Max began to exhibit his art on the Internet.

This company was created to sell only the artwork and designs of artist/designer, Max G. Greiner, Jr.  This enabled Max to create without the constraints of having to produce a particular product, for a particular market, for a particular gallery.  This creative freedom has allowed him to follow his heart. 

From the beginning, Max’s work included original drawings, paintings, sculpture and jewelry.  Over the years, the Greiner line has expanded to include high quality art gifts.  Greiner artwork is now collected in all 50 states and more than two dozen countries.  Today, Max’s art is sold at selected art galleries, gift stores, Christian bookstores and direct to collectors from Max Greiner, Jr. Designs, in Kerrville, Texas, via mail order. 

Originally, Max’s art subject matter consisted mostly of wildlife, landscapes and people.  However, in the spring of 1986, God began to redirect Max’s art and life.  Today, most of Max’s art points to God, through His Son, Jesus Christ.  To Max’s surprise, he learned that God was still “commissioning” artists to create work, just like He did with the artist of the Bible, Bezalel (Exodus 35: 30 – 33).  Max still offers his wildlife and nature art, but his passion these days is to make art that brings glory, honor and most of all, people to Jesus.
