Greiner Sculptures On Public Display:

  • “Divine Servant”®, life-size bronze sculpture by Max Greiner, Jr., depicting Jesus washing Peter’s feet.

Background Information:

Witness Park and Prayer Tower offers a place for prayer and reflection in downtown Pittsburg. The landscaped grounds include a fountain and the “Divine Servant”® bronze sculpture outside the tower.

Dedicated to the city in April 1992, the 75-foot Prayer Tower is built of Indiana limestone with a Vermont slate roof. It features four Paccard bells from France that chime and play hymns on the hour. Inside the chapel, four stained glass windows depict scenes from the life of Jesus.
