In the spring of 1978, Max and Sherry moved back to Texas to begin Max’s new career as a self-employed, independent “fine artist.” Living in the “piney woods” forests near Woodville, Texas, Max began to produce drawings, paintings, jewelry and sculpture out of his imagination. His subject matter consisted primarily of nature, wildlife and people. Max’s first bronze sculptures were created in 1978 of two whitetail deer.
After Max was trained and humbled, God began to redirect his life and art, in the spring of 1986. As a result, Max reached new heights of spiritual, artistic and financial success. In this section, you will be able to see the transformation of the artist and his art. |
